Lately I have been using photoshop a lot! I have found a few great techniques that help me when designing websites. I am going to share one with you guys today!
Design in a grid. When you are designing a website, you should always be thinking about how you are going to slice it up to put on html. Go ahead and think of a block situation, how you are going to set the website up when you are done designing it. I like thinking of a cardboard box.. When you open up a cardboard box it is big and oddly shaped, but when you stick it all together, it becomes a perfect cube.
So to sum it up, think about cardboard cubes when creating websites!

USASEOPros over the years have been writing the content for the client. Of course, the amount of content varies depending on the amount of keywords that the client wants to be ranked for. The higher the amount of keywords, the higher the amount of content that goes into the site.
Recently, USA SEO Pros has come to the decision to add more content to the sites that come through the building to further progress the ranking process and more importantly, staying ranked. This is what is important to both the client and to the company.
“This is indeed a lot of work to put into a single site.” Sean, a content writer from USA SEO Pros, was quoted, “It all comes down to the content of a site. Can the search engines read it? Does it make sense? Does it have a good amount of keywords in it? This is what makes a good site to the search engines and will continue to make good sites in the future. The design of a site is just for looks obviously.”
By increasing the amount of content that is put out in to a single site, the likelihood that the site will get and stay ranked are greatly increased. The optimization services from USA SEO Pros SEO/SEM specialists are doing the constant best to make sure that quality and quality leave the building as a finished project. USASEOPros.com is putting the client first through these recent additions and will continue to strive for greatness.

With over a million first page placements achieved, new products and services in place, USASEOPros is still shooting higher by re-inventing systems within the company to allow for higher productivity and better results. With the new systems in place, information pulls from a client database to make information more readily available and thus, help the SEO Technician and Designer complete the projects faster.
The Head Developer, Steve Phillips, took time to talk with us on the matter, “The system is readily available for our employees in sales as well. Many of them aren’t computer literates, so we’re making everything as user friendly as possible. The flow of information is paramount with the streamlining of the company.” He stopped to handle a phone call and got back to us soon afterward, “Now no system is without it’s bugs, so we have a bug reporting system called Mantis. Using it, we can fix anything and everything that comes up. This even applies for the SEO Techs and Designers so we can implement more features which they’re sending their suggestions for additions.”
Streamlining through these new features is helping the productivity of the IT rooms and will eventually lead to more placements than ever before. There is even a feature in the works to have forms on the front page if the client needs it with their SEO package. With these options and methods, USA SEO Pros is looking to have 2008 end as the most successful year in the company’s history!

It’s always exciting when new things happen. It changes the flow a little bit, adds in that element of surprise that just felt like it was missing. It helps leaven stress, and lifting stress is, well, simply fantastic.
It makes it so that working on your normal work flow, such as a work from home and achieve financial freedom site, doesn’t feel as tedious to do. It’s really a nice feeling. Then again, it might just feel this way because it’s Friday!

Of your system that has those old PSD’s and DOC’s may very well save you hours at a time. It’s often forgotten to back up every bit of information created when you’re at a company, or even with freelance work, that bit of information can save you an incredible amount of time. A site for home insurance in Sonoma County was recently backed up to help with any future problems that may arise. Thus keeping a client happy as well as the SEO Tech that has to work on the site next. Back them up. Frequently.

Copy and paste. It can be a godsend, but only in times where it’s actually supposed to happen.
The only place where it honestly should happen is when actually inserting content into the backend from Dreamweaver or Word or whatever program you might be using to write it - and that’s after you’ve finished writing it. However, when it becomes obvious that you copy and pasted the last three paragraphs over and over again and just changed a few keywords, things get a bit fishy.
Besides, in many cases, that’s blatant plagiarism, especially if taking from sites outside of your realm.
A home based business site that I worked on had to have a few paragraphs reworked in order to clean it up because of so much copy and pasting. I honestly hope I caught everything; the last few paragraphs seem especially suspicious, but my main thing with this site was to add in more keywords, as far too much of the content wasn’t keyword enriched at all and to add in more images.
What’s more, it seems that a lot of client sites are changing and quickly. You can turn in a site and get it back because the client site changed overnight; that means more work, simply because you want the optimization page to look as close to the client’s site as it can, but in the span of a few hours to even a few days, the client site can be completely different - utilizing different images to even an entirely different layout. This can feel really frustrationg, but staying on top of this sort of thing like the techs here have been equals better results.

Nofollow. Some cases it can be a good thing! It certainly sounds good to those not savvy with the internet. With the nofollow tag in anchors, you don’t have search engines following that link to crawl whatever it is that you were linking to! This of course, isn’t exactly prime for link building. Some sites that you may try to advertise on may automatically do this. Nothing you can do about that. If you’re doing legit link building, post up your link where you know you can get that crawl from a search engine. It’ll make a lot of difference.
