home page content

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

I have been writing almost all day content for the home pages for some of the SEO sites that I have created. The importance of it is because when a search engine crawls the site the home page is the site they look at first and then it spiders out from there. So the content must have great keyword penetration to please the search engine as much as possible so you can get the highest ranking possible. Well this is achieved by using bullet points and paragraphs that are stuffed as much as it can with keywords.

well good luck and happy SEOing

The More The Better

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

Really, I’ve found it to be harder to write up content when a client has less keywords rather than a huge explosion of keywords. Recently I just finished a site about Idaho Real Estate and with only 10 keywords, it was a lot harder to write the content rather than a bigger amount of keywords.

Nothing all too fancy about the design. Simple header, pushing the main div down, and some colors taken from their original site. Personally, I think this whole thing about writing content for the keywords is a lot easier when there are more on any site, not just real estate.

Smart Websites

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

Today’s websites are smarter than we think. That meaning, it is not just the way it looks, but the way it is set up inside. These days, a really good website is SEO ready. Meaning, with the way it is set up, Search Engine companies are capable of reading millions of SEO ready sites with its’ crawlers. These crawlers are set up to crawl your website from beginning to end. It looks at each of the words on all of the pages of your site and gathers all the keywords and key terms. Then after it’s done, the crawlers go back to the search engine company, like google, or MSN Live Search for example. It then gives the information and scoop about your SEO ready website. A smart website is setup so that images for example have an alt tag. Alt tags are very helpful when done properly, search engines know what the images are saying without of course seeing the image file, but by just reading the information inside the alt tags itself. This is also good so that when the images are not for some reason downloaded properly, the poor person on the other end of the computer will actually still be able to grasp the idea of the design of the page. Also, good websites are also equipped with good meta tags, css codes and rss feeds. With the combination of all these things, a really smart website will be SEO ready and capable of achieving good rankings on most of the search engines.

Real Estate Rant

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

Another day, another blog. This time though I haven’t touched a MLM in awhile. In place I’ve taken real estate among other things. While working on improving a site dealing with homes for sale in Palm Springs and California and such, I just decided to do things a little differently in terms of CSS.

Usually I don’t mess with the positioning of the main div at all, but I kinda wanted to just to get it to look a little more like the clients site. Just a little bit in adjustments in size and margins and I got it to look really similar to the clients site I’d like to think. Of course, no flash and I didn’t mess with the positioning of the menu. Not much today, just a little mixup since I’ve got work to be gettin to.

MLM Repetition

Monday, December 10th, 2007

While trying to do two timberlake sites for the same client is hard enough, try doing one with 80+keywords and trying not to repeat too much content so that the SEO will be effective…I will admit while doing these MLM sites, I can get pretty frustrated with coming up with new content every time…I mean how many different ways can you say home based business!?

Furthermore when you don’t have keyword lists that are different it makes it twice as hard while at the same time having to key the sites keyword rich and chalked full of useful content. It did take me sometime to settle down and write content for this client, not to mention he is very important to our business, but usually I only had to do one timberlake for each of the MLM client, but not the main guy….more pressure…I found out that if you just relax and try not to look too far ahead at how many keywords there are, or how can I make the same word look different to the search engines…I found out just by sitting down and doing it is the best way…bitching does nothing but waste time and nothing gets accomplished….

That was a memo to myself!!

But I am happy to say I got them both done..only ba splash page to go… If there is anyone out there that has good MLM content…send some my way with over 12 accounts I am running out of ways to describe residual income…or network marketing or home based business opportunity, you know all those wonderful MLM terms…

Bullets - Not the Scary Kind.

Monday, December 10th, 2007

Very easily overlooked, bullets can be an incredibly easy way to pinpoint an area or a keyword. Dealing with another site earlier today that boasts to give financial freedom online gives an okay example of singling out specific areas to increase localization.

Again, it seems MLM’s are drawn to me but I’ve got hope that that’ll change soon into something a tad more interesting. Although, I must say that it is giving me quite a lil knack for writing for these things. In spite of how much I don’t particularly like it. lol nevermind, it would seem my next one has to do with closets. Odds are that’ll be another topic for another blog some other time.

Tracking Your Progress

Monday, December 10th, 2007

One of the best rewards for hard work is to see the outcome with your own eyes. The same rule applies to SEO just as easily as cleaning a house, building a car, or any other work you do for yourself. However, unlike the readily apparent results from those other tasks, seeing the results of good SEO is a little bit harder.

Luckily for us, several companies decided to create solutions to this problem, such as WebCEO and Caphyon’s Advanced Web Ranking. Both of these programs are excellent tools for tracking your way up popular search engines like Google, MSN, Yahoo and Ask.com. They are certainly much faster than getting a list of keywords, a list of search engines, and manually running through each page of results until you have your analysis, but they also provide detailed tools to see your progress over time as your rank [hopefully] increases.

Of those two programs,I personally prefer Advanced Web Ranking due to it’s cleaner interface, more advanced reporting and output tools, and well designed scheduler. AWR also has a great feature to track multiple websites for the same keywords, which is very useful due to the fact that well implemented SEO often involves multiple websites linking to and reinforcing one another.

Insight for SEO practices

Friday, December 7th, 2007

These days there are a lot of websites out there with a lot of information. Overall most of the information that are good but mostly are useless. Which one should you go to and which one shouldn’t you go to? A lot of internet surfers are out there lost with too many places to visit. A lot of bad SEO companies are out there for profit, but also help in sorting out with where to go by simply separating websites by its keywords and their content. Now businesses are paying SEO companies to actually help them in being seen and stand out from the rest of those millions of websites that are on the net. You should be very careful though which ones you choose. A lot of SEO companies are out there charging a lot of money, but are not giving any result. So before you start you investment, make sure you do your research.

so i was finally able to work on http://bestwoodmaster.com. this particular client came to me about a week ago and due to a couple difficulties i was able to immediatly begin work on said client. But over all the sait looks faily well if you asked me, i think i may have taken a couple extra minutes just to find the right images to use for the background and the headers. for bestwoodmaster.com the background image i got off of the clients portfolio on his site. the idea came to me to have that as the background with the template sitting right on top, giving the page a corridoor effect. the colors for the sites i was able to get right off of the images themselves. The content i am confident will get great rankings. ill be back next week to check up on it. overall i am pleased with these two sites. Oh, and on top of that i went ahead and placed MrWoodmaster on the local www.Caramel.com business site.
