drawing out your layout

Sometimes a good website takes more than just a good design by a good designer. It takes good planning and sources. Know your product and what you want to produce on the World Wide Web. Have good sources and study your information that is provided. It is also a good idea to use a spell checker, for SEO purposes. Search Engines will not find you if you misspelled your keywords. Also, Plan out what kind of navigation you want to lay out on each page. If you are just beginning to design websites, it is good to put the mouse down and pick up the pencil and drawing pad. What web designers are thought to do in school is to draw out your layout of each page on a drawing pad. Plan each of your page and the way it navigates on the web. Basically the site map of your website should be drawn out on paper first. Sounds boring yes, but this is good practice and will eventually be eliminated when you have made enough websites under your belt.
