Of Course I Don’t Look Busy, I Did It Right The First Time
Today I am going to talk about quality of work. Have you ever had one of those days at the office, where you walk in and nothing is really getting done? I don’t mean nothing as is laziness or apathy, but in fact you just cant seem to finish a project. Either it keeps being returned to you for small or inane issues that you could have avoided had you kept an eye on the thoroughness and quality of your work. It can be depressing and frustrating not to mention irritating that you can seem to complete the work for good. Well what about when you get someone else’s poor work returned to you? You realize that if they had done it right the first time, you wouldn’t have to redo the work they should have completed correctly the first time. Not only is it slowing you down, but also slowing down the output and productivity of department, not to mention the company. So to avoid issues with anger and unnecessary over work, do it right the first time. Take the extra time and effort to double check your work.
