One or Two R’s?
Yes, I’m sure this is a very moot issue for the lot of you now since we know from elementary that yes, spelling counts. Recently while working on a Cruise to Cash site dealing with discounted vacations and the like, one of the keywords seemed to have two different spellings. Put them both into Google and you’ll quickly find out which one is an error. Surprisingly enough, they both pull in results, but it just looks horribly unprofessional to plaster a misspelled word across your site, right?
In this instance, this word was “Caribbean”. Where as you can tell, the word had two instances: one with one “r” and one with two. Now it’s only human to misspell a word every now and then, but with programs like Microsoft Office and the like readily available (some being open source) you should be able to avoid the little misspellings. Grammar however, you’ll need a little bit more since the vague “consider revision” message you’re bound to see can get incredibly annoying. Back to the point, double check your work. It’ll be the difference between an angry client and a happy one.
